Pinecone Kitset Cabins

The PINECONE KITSET CABIN? range has attractive shadow clad ply with colour steel roof and aluminium joinery. Sizes start from the 8.6sqm "Wainui" home office size, up to a two bedroom self contained cabin. Easily assembled using the module kitset concept and complying with the NZ Building Code 3604/E2 weather proofing regulations 2004. The module format makes it able to choose options for window and door positions.

The cabin kitset packages are manufactured at our premises at Benmore Cres, Manor Park, Lower Hutt.

The pre-constructed exterior wall panel concept makes for simple rapid installation on site. The roof structure is designed to be self supporting allowing for the internal frames to be placed in any position. All models have been designed to go into a very high wind zone and have current engineer?s producer statement for structural bracing and foundation pile design (flat site).

The Wainui and Orongarongo Cabins are fully assembled, fitted with 2 x double hot points, 2 x interior lights, and 1 x exterior light. These two cabins do not require permits as they are 10sqm or less, and can be transported to your site by tandem trailer.

Cabins larger than 10sqm require permits, and assembly on site.
